DEUTSCHE Bank Wealth Management announced March 6 two appointments in its lending management team in the Asia-Pacific.
June Wong has been appointed as head of Emerging Markets Lending, effective May 1, while Tony Tan has been appointed as head of Strategic Lending, Asia & head of Southeast Asia and Global South Asia Lending.
Both report to Arjun Nagarkatti, managing director, global head of Lending, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, who is based in London.
Based in Hong Kong, Wong replaces Alek Pfajfer who left the Bank in December to pursue external opportunities. Wong was previously the head of Business Risk Management for Deutsche Bank Wealth Management in APAC so is well versed with the Bank’s Emerging Markets franchise and the Lending team.
Based in Singapore, Tan has played an instrumental role in driving growth in the region in his previous role as head of Strategic Lending for Asia, and now in his expanded role, he will continue to build the firm’s Strategic Lending capabilities across the region and work closely with Mitch Matharu, global head of Strategic Lending, to help drive the firm’s proposition around the world.
