Deutsche Bank Wealth Management appoints group head, North Asia
Boris Kwok will be joined by 20 other front-facing professionals including six directors

Deutsche Bank Wealth Management (DBWM) has appointed Boris Kwok as group head, North Asia, with a focus on China.

Kwok will report to Kanas Chan, managing director, head of North Asia. Kwok has almost 20 years’ experience in the industry and joins DBWM from Standard Chartered, where he served in various roles since 2002 – the most recent of which was managing director, market head, China Team. In that role, he managed a team of over 25 relationship managers and team heads, covering Greater China.

Twenty other front-facing wealth management professionals will join Kwok, six of whom are directors.

The new hires are part of the firm’s expansion strategy in North Asia to increase the number of relationship managers by 40-50% in three years.
