HSBC appoints regional head of GIS Asia-Pacific
HSBC has appointed Yvonne Thom as regional head of global intermediary services Asia-Pacific, as effective from March 20.

HSBC has appointed Yvonne Thom as regional head of global intermediary services Asia-Pacific, as effective from March 20.

Thom will help in structuring and developing HSBC’s FX proposal linked to custody, while promoting GIS across Asia-Pacific (prime brokerage, execution services, FX overlay and custody FX).

Thom joins from Morgan Stanley where she was regional head of macro flow sales. Having spent over 15 years in financial services in the US and Asia, she has significant experience with a range of high profile clients.

Thom will be based in Hong Kong and report to Vincent Bonamy globally and locally to Justin Chan.
