J. Safra Sarasin has appointed Vinay Gandhi as managing director and chief executive officer, ultra high net worth Asia, a newly created division.

Based in Singapore, Gandhi reports to Enid Yip, chief executive officer, Asia. In this newly created role, he will manage UHNW clients across all Asia markets. Gandhi joins from UBS, where he was a managing director and regional market manager, Southeast Asia, UHNW.

Gandhi has more than 25 years of extensive wealth management experience in Asia. He has managed senior client advisory teams as well as personally serviced Asian UHNW families with a broad range of complex financial needs.
