Speaking at The Asset’s 3rd Treasury & Trade Summit, Sunny Cheng, director and head of financial controlling at DHL explains why some of his SME partners are not keen on supply chain financing.

He highlights that smaller firms may not see the immediate benefits of this compared to factoring. Moreover, Cheng believes that while supply chain finance technology is quite advanced, this can dissuade some SMEs to utilize it. Cheng shares an example of the impact of a new digital invoicing system for his SME partners.
