BNY Mellon Markets appoints global COO for FX
Paresh Shah brings significant experience in driving business expansion in FX franchises

Paresh Shah has joined BNY Mellon Markets as global chief operating officer in the bank’s foreign exchange business. He brings a wealth of experience in driving business expansion in FX franchises.

Shah is based in New York, and in his new role as a member of the core FX management team will report directly to Jason Vitale, global head of Foreign Exchange.  

Shah joins from HSBC, where he held the role of COO Americas for FX, commodities and corporate sales. He has nearly 25 years of experience in the banking and FX industry, having started at E.ON UK in London before going on to Deutsche Bank.
