Andrea Casati will be rejoining UBS in mid-May as a managing director and head of the equity capital markets syndicate for Asia-Pacific, according to a bank internal memo on March 11 seen by The Asset.

Casati previously worked at UBS in a number of equities roles in London from 2003 to 2008. He has spent the past eight years at JP Morgan where he was most recently head of the international equities capital markets syndicate based in Hong Kong, managing teams in Asia and Europe.

A highly-experienced industry professional with deep institutional, private equity and corporate relationships, Casati will look to leverage his syndicate and origination capabilities to win business and enhance connectivity and integration across the Asia-Pacific region.

He will work closely with his ECM colleagues in EMEA and the Americas as well as UBS’ market leading equities franchise to drive strategic priorities across the bank’s platform.
