Standard Chartered makes CEO appointment for Hong Kong
Standard Chartered (Hong Kong) have appointed Mary Huen as the new chief executive officer for Hong Kong.

Standard Chartered (Hong Kong) Limited have appointed Mary Huen, currently regional head of retail banking, Greater China and North Asia (GCNA), as the new chief executive officer for Hong Kong. Huen will succeed May Tan, who will retire as CEO for Hong Kong. In her new role, Huen will continue to report to Benjamin Hung, regional CEO for GCNA.

John Tan, currently CEO, Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Limited, is appointed as the regional head of financial markets, GCNA, and head of financial markets, Hong Kong.

Samir Subberwal, currently head of retail banking for Hong Kong, will succeed Huen as the regional head of retail banking, GCNA.

Vicky Kong, currently regional head of wealth management, GCNA, will succeed Samir as head of retail banking for Hong Kong.
