Rakkar Digital, a Singapore-based provider of digital assets custodian services, has been selected as the official digital asset custodian for Bitkub Exchange, Thailand’s largest digital asset centre.

Bitkub Exchange processes about US$41.5 million of digital assets in daily trading (as of June 13). With Rakkar as its qualified custodian, Bitkub aims to further strengthen its infrastructure to provide better security and reliability to users while complying with the regulations of Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission.

“As we witness unprecedented growth in the digital assets industry, our alliance with Rakkar Digital will significantly contribute to our vision of providing a seamless and secure trading experience,” says Atthakrit Chimplapibul, co-founder and chief executive officer of Bitkub Online.

With Rakkar Digital’s 24/7 support and an average cold wallet processing time of two hours compared to the industry-average SLA (service level agreement) of 24-48 hours, institutional clients like Bitkub will gain enhanced treasury management capabilities with operational agility, security, and compliance.

“As the leading qualified custodian in Asia for Bitkub, we are setting new standard for digital asset custody not just for the region, but for the industry worldwide. With an unwavering commitment to security and compliance, Rakkar Digital remains steadfast in providing best-in-class digital asset solutions to unlock institutional growth,” says Arthit Sriumporn, founder and chief executive officer of Rakkar Digital.
