Deutsche Bank has hired senior digital expert Samar Sen to help drive the bank’s digital strategy for its securities services business, announced the bank on March 14. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Sen was director at BNP in Singapore, driving the development of BNP’s virtual assistant “Beatrice,” which used artificial intelligence to automate client request types.
In his new role, he will work on digital strategy for the bank’s securities services business using artificial intelligence and distributed ledger technology.
Sen joined Deutsche Bank on February 20 and is based in Singapore.
