Net proceeds will be used to fund business activities of state investment firm and holding companies
The Asset 21 Aug 2024

Singapore’s state-owned investment firm Temasek Holdings, through its unit Temasek Financial, has launched a dual-tranche offering comprising 10-year and 30-year offshore renminbi bonds.

The T2034-CNH and T2054-CNH Temasek Bonds are being issued under its US$25 billion Guaranteed Global Medium-Term Note Programme, and fully guaranteed by Temasek.

Net proceeds from the issuance will accrue to Temasek and its investment holding companies to fund their ordinary course of business.

Temasek has been assigned an overall corporate credit rating of “Aaa” by Moody’s Investors Service and “AAA” by S&P Global Ratings.

The firm is applying for the bonds to be listed on the Singapore Exchange.
