HSBC wins as Best in Asset Servicing 2024
Well-attended event celebrates the achievements of the industry in a year of challenges and opportunities

A festive atmosphere pervaded The Asset Triple A Asset Servicing Awards 2024 as the winners were announced in a gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hong Kong last Friday. About 200 asset service providers, asset managers, and their clients joined the celebration of the industry’s achievements in a year of challenges and opportunities.

HSBC wins as Best in Asset Servicing 2024, the top award for asset service providers in Asia. The bank also won the award in 2021 and 2015.

For this year, HSBC is also Best Custodian – Overall, Best Subcustodian – Overall, Best ETF Custodian, Best Fund Administrator – Retail Funds, and Best Fund Administrator – Alternatives.

State Street bags the awards for Best Global Custodian – International Clients, Best in Collateral Management, and Best in Securities Lending.

BNP Paribas wins as Best ESG Custodian and Best Subcustodian – Broker Dealer.

Standard Chartered Bank is honoured as Best Subcustodian – Global and Best Domestic Custodian – Overall.

BNY Mellon clinches the award for Best Global Custodian – Asia-based Clients, Citi wins as Best in Corporate Trust, while Deutsche Bank is Best DR Bank.

The winners were announced following a selection process that lasted several weeks including submissions, pitch meetings, and client feedback.

The Asset Triple A Asset Servicing Awards is part of the The Asset Triple A Sustainable Investing Awards for Institutional Investors, ETF, and Asset Servicing Providers 2024.

The Asset has been bestowing this set of awards since 2010 in recognition of the evolving trends in the asset servicing industry.
