Standard Chartered wins expanded mandate from iFast
Bank named trustee, fund administrator and custodian for seven CIS retail funds
The Asset 13 Jun 2024

Standard Chartered has been appointed as trustee, fund administrator and custodian for seven Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) retail funds managed by iFAST Fund Management.

The bank has been the sole custodian of iFAST’s authorized variable capital company (VCC) funds launched in 2022.

Since 2021, iFAST Fund Management has been growing its fund management capabilities in Singapore. The firm says it chose Standard Chartered because of the bank’s track record in providing a full suite of client solutions, including fund administration, transfer agency, and custodial services.

iFAST Fund Management currently manages 12 authorized retail funds including VCC funds ranging from equity and fixed income to enhanced liquidity funds.

iFast Singapore, a subsidiary of Singapore-listed iFAST Corporation, holds a capital markets services licence and is a CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS)-registered investment administrator. The company provides investment solutions to financial advisers, financial institutions, insurance companies, pension fund managers, retail and accredited investors, and multinational companies.
