BNY rebrands logo, name
Aims to improve familiarity, update, unify visual identity
The Asset 12 Jun 2024

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, while retaining its company name, has updated its logo and simplified its brand to BNY with the aim of improving its familiarity.

Changes to the logo include a custom, more modern font, simplified structure and distinctive teal colour scheme for the arrow.

Under its new company umbrella brand, BNY Mellon Investment Management will also be shortened to BNY Investments. This shortened name, the bank says, “better represents the array of distribution and advisory services beyond managing assets that we provide to our clients”.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management will be shortened to BNY Wealth, and Pershing will become BNY Pershing for a unified visual identity.
