Colgate-Palmolive teams up with foodpanda in Asia-Pacific
Partnership aims to reach more customers, gather insights into consumer habits
The Asset 10 Mar 2023

Colgate-Palmolive has joined forces with delivery platform foodpanda to provide consumers in Asia-Pacific greater access to its products.

The three-year partnership will allow consumers in the region to easily purchase a wide range of Colgate products on-demand and have them delivered to their doorstep within an hour any time of the day through foodpanda’s quick-commerce (q-commerce) capabilities, the companies say.

It follows earlier collaborations, which have shown a strong demand for Colgate's range of oral, personal and home-care products on foodpanda via pandamart in key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

This year the alliance will focus on piloting commercial, marketing and advertising initiatives based on a core range of products across the region. This will not only allow Colgate to reach more customers and bring an extra convenience to them, but will also provide the company with deeper insights into consumer purchasing habits to support its business and marketing efforts.

According to foodpanda, the q-commerce platform has seen a rise in demand across product categories, with orders for health and wellness products up by 216% in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period in the previous year.
