Swiss bank UBS has appointed Hayden Briscoe as its head of asset management for Hong Kong, a role he will perform in addition to his current duties as head of fixed income for global emerging markets and Asia-Pacific.

Briscoe, who in this new capacity will report to Raymond Yin, head of asset management, Asia-Pacific and China, started his career in Sydney, then moved to Hong Kong in 2013 and joined UBS asset management in 2016.

He takes over from Adolfo Oliete, head of hedge fund solutions (HFS), Asia-Pacific, and asset management, Hong Kong. After seven years, Oliete will return to London to continue as head of HFS, Asia-Pacific, and as a member of the senior leadership team for HFS global business.

Yin says: “Our location heads play an important role in providing oversight and representing asset management internally and externally, and Briscoe will bring his extensive experience from across the Asia-Pacific region to his new role.”
