Standard Chartered has appointed Andy Ross as global head, prime and financing, financing & securities services (FSS), effective July 25.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ross joins Standard Chartered from CurveGlobal where he was CEO, while also serving as a member of the capital markets leadership team at London Stock Exchange Group. Prior to CurveGlobal, he held senior management positions at Morgan Stanley.

In addition to his prime and financing role, Ross will serve as financial markets head, United Kingdom, starting August 1. He will be based in the UK, reporting to Margaret Harwood-Jones, global head of financing and securities services, financial markets, also based in the UK, and to Molly Duffy, head of Europe and the Americas, financial markets, based in the United States.
