Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) has appointed Charles Zhou as head of aviation finance and Nicholas Low as head of the healthcare industry group, both for Asia-Pacific.

They are based in Singapore. Zhou reports to Jean Chedeville, global head of aviation finance, and to Emmanuel Gillet-Lagarde, head of real assets and global trade for Asia-Pacific. Low reports to Bertrand Guiot, head of real assets & investment banking for Southeast Asia and head of infrastructure funds coverage for Asia-Pacific, and to Francis Ansvananda, head of coverage for Southeast Asia.

Zhou has more than 15 years of experience in banking and aviation across a variety of locations, including mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Ireland. Before joining Natixis CIB, he was the aviation finance executive director for Greater China and North Asia at Standard Chartered Bank. He was also the chairman and general manager of Pembroke Aircraft Leasing (Tianjin) Co Ltd, the aircraft operating lease platform of Standard Chartered Bank in China. Zhou holds a master's degree in finance at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

With more than 13 years of industry experience, Low started his career with Ipsen in the pharmaceuticals corporate business development team in London and subsequently worked in the investment banking divisions of Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Nomura across London and Singapore. Prior to joining Natixis, he was a healthcare private equity investing professional at Quadria Capital based in Singapore. Low holds a master’s in investment management from the Cass Business School, City University, London.
