SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Boeing 737-8 MAX to Flydubai
State-owned budget airline receives third of seven-aircraft order

SMBC Aviation Capital has delivered a Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft to Flydubai. It is the third of seven Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft which will be delivered to Flydubai by SMBC.  The fourth aircraft is scheduled for delivery imminently, with the remaining three units to follow in the fourth quarter.

The narrow-body aircraft, equipped with CFM LEAP-1B28 engines, was delivered from Boeing facilities in Seattle. CFM is a joint venture between GE Aviation of the United States and Safran of France.

Flydubai is a state-owned budget airline headquartered at Dubai International Airport, and operates an all-Boeing fleet.
