Crédit Agricole CIB has appointed Romain Voisin as head of the energy and infrastructure group for Asia, effective July 1. The group supports the bank’s clients with advisory and debt arranging services across the power, oil and gas, infrastructure and metals and mining sectors in the region.
He will replace Quentin Slight who has relocated to London as head of structured finance advisory power.
Voisin has over 15 years of regional and international experience in the energy and infrastructure space. He joined Crédit Agricole CIB in 2004 within the financial sponsors group in New York. He later worked in the leverage, telecom, infrastructures & energy finance teams in Hong Kong, Mumbai and Singapore where he was last in charge of the Singapore energy & infrastructure team.
Based in Hong Kong, he reports locally to Edouard O’Neill, chief executive officer of Hong Kong branch and head of structured finance for Asia, and globally to Jean -François Grandchamp des Raux, global head of energy & infrastructure group.
