Citi has appointed Mark England as Asia-Pacific head of sales for custody and fund services. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to Sanjiv Sawhney, global head of custody and fund services, and David Russell, Asia-Pacific head of securities services and Hong Kong head of markets.

England returns to Citi from State Street where he served in various client coverage roles since 2015, most recently as Asia-Pacific head of client relationship management.

He first joined Citi in Dublin in 1998 and has held a variety of senior roles across securities services, including assignments in London and New York working on business implementation. He moved to Hong Kong in 2010 as part of the client sales management team.

Citi recently announced multiple milestones in the APAC region including completing a client transfer agreement in Australia, and being the first US bank to receive a domestic fund custody approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

With over US$24.9 trillion of assets under custody and administration (as of the third quarter of 2020) and the industry-leading proprietary network spanning over 60 markets, Citi Securities Services provides clients with in-depth local market expertise, advanced processing technologies and a wide range of custody and fund services that can be tailored to meet clients’ needs.
