CFA Institute appoints two managing directors
Paul Andrews and Barbara Petitt join leadership team

CFA Institute, a global association of investment professionals, has announced two new appointments to its leadership team. Paul Andrews will assume the role of managing director of research, advocacy and standards, effective March 1. He will be based in Washington, DC. Barbara Petitt, Ph.D., CFA, will assume the role of managing director of professional learning, effective February 1. She will be based in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Andrews and Petitt will report to Margaret Franklin, CFA, president and chief executive officer of CFA Institute.

Andrews is currently secretary general of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and holds 25 years of experience in leadership positions at the forefront of national and international financial regulation.

Petitt is currently senior head, curriculum and learning experience, at CFA Institute. Prior to this role, Barbara was managing editor of the Financial Analysts Journal, the flagship publication of CFA Institute.
