JP Morgan has made a series of senior appointments in Asia-Pacific.
Carl Chien has been appointed vice chairman for Asia-Pacific, focusing on client relationships, in addition to his existing responsibilities as Taiwan senior country officer.
Brian Gu has been appointed Chairman of Asia-Pacific, investment banking, focusing on client relationships. He will also join the global strategic advisory council.
Daniel Darahem has been appointed head of ECM, Asia-Pacific, in addition to his existing role as head of the strategic investors group and equity private placement.
Kerwin Clayton and Rohit Chatterji have been appointed co-heads of M&A, Asia-Pacific.
John Hall and Murli Maiya have been appointed co-heads of global investment banking coverage, Asia-Pacific, which includes country, industry, and advisory banker teams. Within their coverage group is: Mac El-Omari, who is appointed vice chairman, GIB, Asia-Pacific; Nick Johnson, appointed head of GIB coverage for Hong Kong, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan; and other GIB heads for China, Japan, Australia, and India.
Sudhir Goel has been appointed head of debt capital markets, Asia-Pacific, in addition to his existing DCM and sales responsibilities in the markets & investor services organization.
