J.P. Morgan Asset Management makes new appointment
Myles Bradshaw will also be a managing director and portfolio manager
The Asset 13 Nov 2019

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has appointed Myles Bradshaw as managing director and head of global aggregate fixed income strategies within JPMAM’s Global Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities (GFICC) Group. Bradshaw succeeds Iain Stealey in this role, following Stealey’s promotion to International CIO for GFICC earlier this year. Based in London, Bradshaw will report to Stealey.

JPMAM’s Global Aggregate Strategies team leverages JPMAM’s GFICC platform for its multi-sector bond portfolios. The US$591 billion platform currently has over 279 investors managing money across government bonds, credit, emerging markets debt, currency and securitised debt. Bradshaw and team will work with these global sector teams, in order to determine the tactical asset allocation of JPMAM’s suite of Global Aggregate fixed incomes strategies.

Bradshaw will be added as named portfolio manager, in addition to existing portfolio managers, on the following strategies. There will be no change to the investment process of any funds.

Bradshaw joins from Amundi where he was head of the Global Aggregate Fixed Income team. Before joining Amundi, Bradshaw spent eight years as a portfolio manager at PIMCO, where he led the firm’s Eurozone sovereign and macro strategy. He also worked at Threadneedle Investment Managers, managing global and sterling portfolios. Bradshaw started his career in 1996 as an economist at HM Treasury in London.
