MSCI Inc, a provider of research-based indexes and analytics, has announced the appointment of Jack Lin as a managing director and head of APAC client coverage.

Lin will report to Laurent Seyer, chief operating officer and chief client officer at MSCI, and will be based in Hong Kong.

"Jack's years of industry leadership building coverage teams, as well as his broad exposure across private equity, equity, fixed income, multi-asset and structured solution products, will be incredibly valuable as we continue to build our presence and leadership in APAC," says Seyer.

Lin joins MSCI from Amundi, an asset manager, where he was head of South Asia.
