UBS has appointed Randy Gelber as managing director and head of TMT Asia Pacific, beginning in April.

Gelber joins from SMBC Nikko, where he was most recently head of investment banking for the Americas. Prior to SMBC, Gelber was at Barclays where he held senior roles including head of technology services and enterprise solutions in the Americas and head of TMT Asia Pacific.

He will also join the APAC regional management committee and take responsibility for helping drive sector integration across the region.
