CNCEC to build offshore LNG terminal in Pakistan
Daewoo Gas has signed a master engineering, procurement construction and financing (EPCF) contract with China National Chemical Engineering Construction Company (CNCEC), to set up an offshore LNG terminal in Pakistan. The project envisages transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG) on trucks and bowsers loaded with ISO tanks rather than through a pipeline system.

MUFG joins mega solar and battery storage project for Las Vegas
Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners and its portfolio company Primergy Solar have closed US$1.9 billion in debt and tax equity financing for a mammoth project to deliver clean energy to the US city of Las Vegas. The Gemini Solar + Storage project, to be constructed in the Mojave Desert in Nevada, will be the largest single development of its kind in the United States when it is completed and becomes operational in late 2023.

OGCI partners with CNPC on China climate fund
OGCI Climate Investments (OGCI CI), alongside its partners China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Hainan Free Trade Zone Development Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Hainan FTZ Fund), has launched the OGCI China Climate Investments (CCI) fund. The fund will follow the model deployed by OGCI CI’s first international fund, focusing on driving near-term greenhouse gas (GHG) impact across methane emissions reduction, carbon dioxide emissions reduction and recycling or storage of carbon dioxide.
