Kroll has appointed seasoned restructuring professional Stacey Lau as a managing director in its global restructuring advisory practice, based in Hong Kong.
Lau, a chartered surveyor and financial analyst, has over 20 years' experience with and has managed some of the largest construction restructurings in Hong Kong, and her clients include lenders and investors with real estate assets across Asia and Europe, developers, contractors and consultants.
She began her career at Levett and Bailey working on construction cost management and dispute resolution assignments and later focused on preparing expert testimony for insurers, developers, consultants and contractors in arbitration and litigation proceedings of high-profile construction or transaction disputes. Her previous experience also includes working as a senior restructuring adviser for Ernst & Young, Borrelli Walsh, and Alvarez & Marsal.
