Euler Hermes Asia Pacific has appointed Shan Aboo as chief executive officer for Asean, effective April 1. Based in Singapore, Aboo will oversee the trade credit insurer's operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. He will be reporting to Holger Schaefer, regional head for Asia-Pacific.

Aboo joined Euler Hermes in 2008 in Dubai as a business development manager covering the Gulf Cooperation Council (Middle East) market, before moving to Singapore as the commercial director for Euler Hermes Asean in 2012. Lin joined the World Agency eight years ago and has established solid connections with multinational businesses across the region. She has worked in the United States, mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore, and has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector through a variety of roles. Lin will lead the regional World Agency operations from Hong Kong.
