The Asset 18 Sep 2020

St. James’s Place Wealth Management Asia (SJP Asia) has named Daniel Brunner and Thomas Forster to the firm's partnership. Both will focus on serving the firm’s growing customer base in Asia by offering seasoned advice amid the growing market volatility caused by Covid-19.

Based in Singapore, Forster and Brunner bring 30 years of individual experience in the international financial services sector, having held a number of senior roles in private banking, wealth planning and asset management.

Prior to joining SJP Asia, Forster held senior roles in wealth management for Schroders and Deutsche Bank Singapore, while Brunner joins from the Singapore office of a global independent asset manager/multi-family office headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, and previously worked at Credit Suisse in various senior roles for almost 23 years, most recently as managing director and senior client partner in private banking Asia-Pacific.

“With their breadth of experience and knowledge of Asia’s wealth management industry, we are excited to work closely with them to further grow our value proposition,” says Gary Harvey, CEO of St. James’s Place Singapore. “As the pandemic-induced volatility continues to affect global markets, we believe that investors will increasingly require tailored advice and guidance in managing their money.”
