Independent asset manager Raffles Family Office (RFO) has named Edward Sit as its executive director and head of Greater China corporate development. In his new role, Sit will focus on business partnerships and client development, splitting his time between Hong Kong and mainland China.
Sit joins RFO from Hong Kong Exchange & Clearing, where he was vice president responsible for the bourse’s global client development function. Combined, he has 15 years of experience in the finance industry across world-renowned financial institutions.
“Greater China is an integral part of RFO’s growth strategy,” says Chiman Kwan, RFO’s founder and chief executive officer. “[Sit’s] expertise makes him an ideal addition to the team that executes our strategy in Greater China and advances our position in the region.”
The appointment of Sit follows three senior hires at RFO in the first half of this year - Stella Kong, managing director, Greater China; Simon Lints, strategic advisor; and Paul Tay, senior vice president, trading and advisory.
