Capital Group bolsters Asia distribution team
Keith Wong, Jasmine Huang will be based in Singapore

Investment firm Capital Group has appointed two new associates to its Asian distribution team, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to growing in the region.

Keith Wong has been appointed to the newly created position of associate director, financial intermediaries, Asia. He will work with Jeik Sohn, managing director, financial intermediaries, Asia, to expand Capital’s investment services across the region.

Wong joins from J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he spent five years as a global investment specialist associate, delivering portfolio management and advisory services to clients in Singapore and Southeast Asia. His previous roles included working in the Treasury team at Citibank and Barclays.

Jasmine Huang joins Capital as associate director, product marketing, Asia and Europe, and will report to Janelle Li, director, product marketing, Asia and Europe. 

Huang comes from Franklin Templeton where she was senior product content specialist responsible for developing investment product content for retail and institutional clients. She brings 11 years of industry experience, including roles at DBS Bank and Partners Group.

Both associates will be based in Capital’s regional head office in Singapore.  

“Asia is a strategically important region for Capital Group, and we continue to expand our sales and marketing capabilities in the region,” says Guy Henriques, head of distribution, Asia and Europe, at Capital Group, which has US$1.7 trillion in assets under management.
