StashAway advisor transitions to board of directors
Former regional COO of Morgan Stanley Asia Private Wealth, Sim Hwee Hoon, joins as independent non-executive director

STASHAWAY announced June 2 that the former regional chief operating officer (COO) of Morgan Stanley Asia Private Wealth Management, Sim Hwee Hoon, has joined its board of directors as an independent non-executive director. She has more than a decade of experience as a managing director in c-suite positions at major US banks, and transitioned from a member of the company’s advisory committee.

Sim was formerly the CEO of Morgan Stanley Asia International Limited, Singapore branch, where she also sat on the board of directors. She was also the regional chief operating officer of Private Wealth Management Asia in Morgan Stanley from 2010 to 2016 and is currently a board member of NTUC Income.
