Principal Global appoints new head for Southeast Asia
Principal Global Investors has appointed Celestine Khoo as managing director, head of Southeast Asia. Khoo will be based in the Principal Global Investors Singapore office responsible for its operations in Southeast Asia. Celestine will report to Kirk West, chief executive for Asia of Principal Global Investors.

Principal Global Investors has appointed Celestine Khoo as managing director, head of Southeast Asia. Khoo will be based in the Principal Global Investors Singapore office responsible for its operations in Southeast Asia. Celestine will report to Kirk West, chief executive for Asia of Principal Global Investors.
 
Her appointment is a strategic initiative for Principal Global Investors to meet the growing business demands in the Southeast Asian region. As part of the global management team, she will help develop and implement growth initiatives in the region.
 
Prior to joining Principal Global Investors, she was director and head, External Fund Management, Reserve Management at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Before that, she held senior investment banking roles at UBS AG and DBS Bank.
 
Kirk West, Chief Executive Asia for Principal Global Investors, said: “The Southeast Asia region is currently undergoing exciting growth and we are committed to expanding our businesses here.”
 
Celestine qualified as a chartered accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
