Julius Baer appoints new market head in Singapore
Swiss private bank Julius Baer has appointed Parminder Soin as new market head Indian Subcontinent and Non-Resident Indian in Singapore, effective April 20

Swiss private bank Julius Baer has appointed Parminder Soin as new market head Indian Subcontinent and Non-Resident Indian in Singapore, effective April 20.

 
Soin will be responsible for expanding the bank’s business for NRI clients out of Singapore and will report to Rolf Schaerer, global market head ISC & NRI at Bank Julius Baer.
 
Parminder joins Julius Baer with 25 years of experience in the private banking industry. He worked for UBS Singapore for 10 years, acting as UHNW desk head and deputy country head Private Wealth Management from 2006 after joining as a senior client advisor in 2005. Before that, he spent 15 years with Deutsche Bank where he was head private banking department of the New Delhi Branch, head North and East India of Private Banking out of Delhi and senior relationship manager of Private Banking in Singapore, respectively.
 
Parminder succeeds Daniel Maag, who will take on a senior client partner role focusing on managing key client relationships.
