SWIFT Asia-Pacific appoints new Asean and compliance heads
SWIFT has named Sharon Toh as head of Asean and Zelda Anthony as head of compliance solutions, Asia-Pacific. Both Toh and Anthony will be based in Singapore, reporting directly to SWIFT Asia-Pacific managing director, Eddie Haddad.

SWIFT has named Sharon Toh as head of Asean and Zelda Anthony as head of compliance solutions, Asia-Pacific. Both Toh and Anthony will be based in Singapore, reporting directly to SWIFT Asia-Pacific managing director, Eddie Haddad.
 
Toh will head up the Asean relationship management team, supporting existing customers and expanding Asean businesses in this fast-growing region. Toh joins with over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has developed deep client relationships across the Asean region, with strong connections with banks, corporates, regulators and market infrastructures. She joined SWIFT from Thomson Reuters where she was sales director, Indochina covering Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos. Previously, Toh was regional head of Asean for the client specialist team.
 
Anthony will be responsible for driving SWIFT’s compliance initiatives in Asia- Pacific and leading a team of specialists to help SWIFT members increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their compliance activities. Most recently head of Asean, Anthony has previously served as Asia-Pacific head of new customers and regional head of Oceania. A senior sales leader who has worked extensively in Asia-Pacific and the UK, Anthony has managed teams of proven track record   servicing the financial services sector across regionally dispersed locations.
