Tullett Prebon expands in APAC, Middle East
Tullett Prebon Information (TPI), a leading global provider of financial market data, has made three new business development appointments in Dubai, Singapore and Shanghai.

Tullett Prebon Information (TPI), a leading global provider of financial market data, has made three new business development appointments in Dubai, Singapore and Shanghai.

 

Leigh Carpenter will take on the role of sales executive responsible for managing TPI's growing business in India, the Middle East and Africa. Based in Dubai, he brings a wealth of industry experience having most recently worked at Thomson Reuters, where he promoted real-time data to businesses across the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to this, he spent 16 years working for interactive data in various commercial roles including heading the UK sales operation.

 

As TPI's new head of business development based in Singapore, Rhys Spencer will be responsible for managing existing relationships and growing the customer-base in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and South Korea. He has worked at TPI for over four years in product and technical support roles and has extensive knowledge of the OTC market data landscape.

 

TPI has also appointed Rain Tian as business development manager in China, based in Shanghai. He will promote both the existing international TPI datasets as well as the onshore data from Tullett Prebon Sitico, a joint venture between Tullett Prebon and Shanghai International Trust Co. He has over 12 years' financial markets experience, most recently as senior solution sales specialist for mainland China at Thomson Reuters.

 

TPI delivers independent OTC money market, foreign exchange, fixed income and derivative pricing to financial institutions and service providers including major global and domestic data vendors.
