AMTD Financial Planning has changed its name to AMTD Asset Management effective from December 31 2014. The name change reflects the development of AMTD into a sizable asset management company and its strong capabilities to expand in the asset management and wealth management space in Greater China.
Over the past five years, AMTD has successfully developed its asset management business. Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia joined as a strategic shareholder of AMTD since last October. The participation of Morgan Stanley, coupled with the long-standing support from Cheung Kong Group, underlines that AMTD is committed to providing better professional expertise, product support and service quality to our customers and strengthening all aspects of its business operations to achieve sustainable growth in the Greater China region.
