Following the appointment of Hayden Seach as head of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial Asia  (GC&C Asia) in April 2014, the company also named Terry Dunning as head of claims and Axel Roesner as head of operations and IT.

 

GC&C is a new business unit of the Generali Group launched with the ambition to deliver the best services and insurance solutions for middle and large companies. In Asia, GC&C aims to provide seamless insurance solutions to the multinational customer segment, as well as comprehensive coverage for mega construction projects.

 

From a product perspective, the Global Corporate & Commercial offering covers specialty lines protection, in particular aviation, marine and financial lines coverage.

 

Dunning has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, the majority of this being in Asia. He has worked with various corporations including Zurich, RSA, International Finance Corporation and international loss adjusters. He is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.

 

Roesner brings with him over eight years of international experience in the financial service industry with specialization across operations and IT in the insurance industry. In his new role, he will be responsible for operations management and business transformation, overseeing the delivery of IT and business projects including the roll-out of global systems and tools across Asia.

 

He lived and worked in six different countries across North America, Europe and Asia. He holds a lean black belt, as well as an MBA from the California School of International Management.
