Independent international advisory firm MVision has made two senior hires for its Hong Kong office. Michelle Paisley and Dennis Kwan will join founder and CEO, Mounir Guen, who recently relocated to Hong Kong, to lead the firm’s expansion in Asia-Pacific.
Paisley joins as managing director. She has over 20 years experience, 18 of which have been spent in the region. She will take responsibility for leading MVision's sales in Asia and globally, and joins its leadership team.
Paisley joins from Macquarie Bank where she was most recently a division director in Asian equities, having moved from Sydney in 2006 to run Macquarie Securities' Hong Kong China business. Previously, she held senior roles at Bankers Trust, and Citigroup in Sydney and at HSBC in London.
Kwan was also recently appointed as managing director in the Hong Kong office, and will play an important role in MVision’s global origination programme as well as developing and maintaining relationships with investors in the Asia-Pacific region.
He was most recently a principal at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Hong Kong, and was responsible for overseeing investments in its global programme across private equity, credit and infrastructure investments. Previously, he held senior operating and financial management roles in KPMG and Sony, globally.
