BlackRock appoints APAC head of multi-asset strategies
BlackRock, Inc. has named Edward Bang as head of multi-asset strategies Asia-Pacific. He will build the multi-asset strategies business and represent the firm’s multi-asset capabilities, including investments, products, services and tools.

BlackRock, Inc. has named Edward Bang as head of multi-asset strategies Asia-Pacific. He will build the multi-asset strategies business and represent the firm's multi-asset capabilities, including investments, products, services and tools. Based in Hong Kong, Bang will report to Ryan Stork, head of Asia-Pacific; and Ken Kroner, global head of multi-asset strategies.

 

Bang joins BlackRock from UBS Global Asset Management, where he had been head strategist, Asia- Pacific, for global investment solutions, the firm's multi-asset capability, since January 2010. Before that, he was CEO and head of Asia at Olivant for two years, where he was one of four founding senior partners. He previously played senior equity portfolio management roles at York Capital Management, Wellington Management, Fidelity and The Boston Company.
