Bertrand Guiot has joined Natixis' Sydney office as head of global infrastructure and projects, Australia, and reports to Daniel Klinger, head of aircraft, export and infrastructure finance for Asia-Pacific, and locally to Michael Lang, senior country manager, Natixis Australia.

Guiot relocated to Australia in August 2014 from Canada where he was working for Natixis' global infrastructure and projects as executive director, being part of the team launching Natixis activities in Montreal in 2012. Over the past 18 months, he notably participated in the successful closing of six renewable transactions (wind, solar and biomass projects) totalling 700 MW, supported the bank's clients on PPP transactions in North America and led a financial advisory mandate on a greenfield telecom submarine cable financing.

Prior to Natixis, Guiot was at Dexia in Montreal, in charge of the project finance activities across the country, closing numerous PPP financing and advising on renewable energy transactions. Prior to being seconded to Canada, he was at Dexia's head office in Paris where he was involved in arranging PPPs in the infrastructure sector and corporate/acquisition/export credit financing in the telecom sector.

Moritz Bloch has joined Natixis' global infrastructure and projects teams as a director in Paris. He reports to Bénédicte de Giafferri, head of global infrastructure and projects for France, Germany and Benelux. Bloch will be in charge of leading deal teams for the origination and execution of mandates across the four sectors covered by the team (transportation and social, power and renewables, natural resources and telecom). He has 15-years project finance experience, covering financial advisory as well as arranging of financings in the bank or bond market.

Prior to joining Natixis, Bloch worked with Deutsche Bank's infrastructure and energy team. Working first out of Frankfurt, he relocated in 2011 to Paris to take the lead on developing the French and Belgian markets, leading in particular deal teams on Belgium's A11 motorway project, the Zagreb airport project and closing in France most notably the eco-tax project.
